We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Operations and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "SMS Quality Conformance Manager (d/f/m).
Stellenbeschreibung
- Contribute to the SMS by solving cases raised in the FAL Hamburg SMS perimeter, including continuous process application improvement
- Analysis of aviation-safety-related speak-ups in order to define and implement immediate containment actions, perform a thorough root cause analysis, define and implement permanent corrective actions and check their effectiveness
- Lead or participate in multifunctional teams and act as an interface to other involved stakeholders (Safety Items Managers, Quality Conformance Managers, other departments like Manufacturing Engineering)
- Fulfill the tasks and responsibilities of SMS network members incl. recording of employees' speak-ups
- Perform data analysis to enable a proper monitoring/reporting of the activity and support decision making for the SMS network
- Define and adapt local governance incl. their documentation
- Prepare audits in coordination with the SMS network if necessary
- Planning and execution of continuous improvement and prevention measures incl. decision-making
- Organize/coordinate regular progress meetings, SMS case review meetings, other local SMS meetings etc.
- Manage the backlog and regular inflow of SMS cases
- Foster a cross-fertilization among SMS case managers to enhance the learning curve
- Ensure good level of communication between SMS network, involved stakeholders within the FAL Hamburg and other ecosystems
- Deal with complex cross-functional problems in a volatile environment

Anforderungsprofil
- Completed studies in the field of aircraft construction, engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the field of:
- Engineering
- Project Management
- Process Improvement
- Quality Management
- Data Analysis
- Good Knowledge in using SAP and Google Workspace
- Knowledge of lean management and total quality management (problem-solving methods)
- Basic knowledge in risk management and KAIZEN
- Fluent in English and German
