Systems Engineer (m/f/d) for Post Flight Analysis System at Airbus

• Requirements analysis and definition (Software Requirement Specification incl. requirements engineering)
• Impact analysis of design changes considering the entire product life-cycle
• Interface definition to other systems like mission management computer-, EW sensors - or other avionics systems
• Support the definition for the analysis of sensor data and the performance using data analytic techniques for correlation and augmentation to improve data analysis capability
• Definition of the requirements acceptance criteria and develop executable tests plan which address technical specification verification requirements
• Support test’s evaluation of system performance in the laboratory
• Supporting of technical milestone reviews and qualification (with or without customer)
• Involvement in creation of technical documentation like user operational manuals

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, Computer science or a comparable qualification
• A few years of relevant experience in systems/software engineering in aviation area is mandatory
• Working knowledge of one of more of the following specialty areas related to self-defensive systems, radar system and electronic support system is valuable
• Knowledge and practical experience in machine learning (e.g. deep learning, neural networks, regression, classification) is needed
• Experience using the requirements management tool “DOORS” is necessary
• Understanding of software architectures for cloud native software applications is desirable
• Good knowledge of Python and the application of machine learning libraries (e.g. scikitlearn, NumPy, Pandas) is required
• Experience in end-to-end web application testing with a tool such as Playwright is necessary
• Familiarity with Atlassian software development and collaboration tool set (Jira and Confluence) is a must have
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in German
